SUMMER PLANS

Beach Bums Games – Friday, June 4. Also a going away party for Sarah and Jason. We will meet at the Lord’s house at 5:30 for a supper, then off to the Beach Bum’s Game at 7:00 (bring money). There are fireworks afterward. Have your parents plan to pick you up at 11:00 at the front of the stadium (or line up a ride home ahead of time).

Saturday, June 5 Potential Work project in Kingsley for Habitat for Humanity. I will keep you posted. Watch for Facebook notices and bulletin announcements.

Anybody up for paintball on Wednesday, June 16? This would happen in Mesick, at a very cool paintball course. It does cost, from $10 to about $35 max (if you rent equipment) We would carpool. It starts at 6 and ends at 9.

Wednesday nights Next week (June 2), there is no Wednesday meeting. After that, there are meetings here over the summer. There is still a meal, but there will be no structured classes for youth. You can just come here and hang out ☺

Big Ticket Festival in Gaylord is June 24-26. Tickets are approximately $90 for all three days, $75 for two days, and $40 for one day. www.bigticketfestival.com. I plan to go on Saturday only, so for those of you who want to go, let’s do this.

Costa Rica, July 6-16.

[b/Unity Fest in Muskegeon is on Wednesday, August 11.
That’s the free day at the festival. ☺

There are some other plans brewing, but nothing definite yet. Enjoy your summer!!

Philosophy: “If you don’t know Christ, we want you to! If you do know Him, we want you to know Him better… for you, your family, the church, and the world.”

A combination of topical presentations and small group discussion. Our primary focus is small groups: giving kids time to develop honest, authentic friendships and opportunities to engage difficult topics in a format that encourages open discussions of the hard questions of life and helps them find solid answers.

We also provide opportunities for fun fellowship and healthy service activities in the community. One of the highlights of the year is the annual fall trip to JPUSA, an inner city ministry serving the poor in Chicago.
